Eye Exam Frequently Asked Questions
What is the average cost of an eye exam at Wisconsin Vision?
Our eye exams are affordable for patients of all ages. We are always accepting and welcoming new patients into our eye center. For specific pricing details on our eye exams for the family, contact our Racine location.
Does the Racine location accept walk-ins?
Those who are walk-ins are subject to the availability around our scheduled appointments. Schedule an appointment online to ensure when you come into the store next you will meet with an eye doctor that same day.
If my child is nervous about their first kid’s eye exam, can I bring them with me to my next appointment?
Yes! This is one of the things we recommend if your child is anxious about their first kid’s eye exam. Bringing them to your appointment will get them familiar with the location, and show them the process is painless and important for everyone to do.
What should I do if I don’t have the answer to my child’s eye exam questions?
Encourage your child to ask questions, even if you don’t have the answer. Let them know they can always ask the doctor during the exam when they have them. Our eye doctors are always open to answering any questions before, during, and after the eye exams.
Does Wisconsin Vision’s Racine location offer Telehealth services?
We are working on implementing Telehealth capabilities at all our Wisconsin Vision locations. Unfortunately, our Racine location does not yet offer Telehealth eye exams.
