How Often Do I Need My Eyes Checked?
The American Optometric Association recommends the following guidelines for people with no signs of eye or vision problems:

Wisconsin Vision in Oshkosh accepts most vision plans including VSP. Your vision insurance covers routine eye exams and may pay for part of your eyeglasses or contact lenses if needed. Flexible spending accounts can be used to pay for eye exams and eyewear.
If you have a medical condition affecting your eye health (such as pink eye, glaucoma, or macular degeneration) your medical insurance may also be billed. We’re happy to do an insurance check and explain your benefits.

Does the Oshkosh location accept walk-in patients?
Walk-in patients are subject to availability around scheduled appointments. We recommend scheduling an appointment online to ensure you meet with one of our eye doctors the same day you come into the store.
How is a visual acuity test done for kids who do not know the alphabet at a kid’s eye exam?
Eye doctors will use symbols such as a house, circle, or apple for the younger children who have not learned the alphabet yet. This is in place of the standard eye chart.
Why does my child need regular eye exams?
Ensuring your child has regular kids eye exams is important in making sure that eye health and vision development are on track. Even if your child isn’t complaining about their vision, keeping routine eye exams is important for detecting any vision problems early making treatment more effective.
Does Wisconsin Vision’s Oshkosh location offer Telehealth services?
